Club Information
The Winston Hills Hawks is a legally registered entity under the NSW Department of Fair Trading, operating in alignment with the Department’s “model constitution.” While guided by formal rules, the Club’s operations prioritise common sense, upheld by a responsible management committee dedicated to preserving its values and traditions.
The Club is run entirely by unpaid volunteers, including executives, committee members, coaches, and trainers.
Over the years, the Club has invested substantial funds into improving facilities and equipment, ensuring high-quality experiences for players and members.
Club Structure
The executive team consists of elected roles for President, Coaching Coordinator, Treasurer, and Secretary. Other members oversee key areas such as Coaching and Development, Fundraising and Social Activities, Grounds Management, and Sponsorship.
In addition, various subcommittees of volunteers support the Club’s operations in areas like fundraising, equipment management and registrations. These informal groups are coordinated by executive committee members.
Accountability and Governance
The Club adheres to the bylaws and conventions of the Parramatta District Junior Rugby League Association for its junior competition. Financial accountability is ensured through independent annual audits, with reports presented at the Annual General Meeting.
